The “Help” button provides a bare-bones description of the classic Klondike Solitaire version – although one might say it is not a complicated game by nature. Clicking the “Play” button also offers the choice between drawing 1 or 3 cards from stock at a time. The name of the game is also presented on top of the game interface. Its landing page presents a game screen with “Play” and “Help” buttons. ![]() It is one of many games presented on, offering a free online Solitaire experience in full screen. There is also a small “cog” button on the left side of the screen that hides all of the possible field customization options.Ĭlassic Solitaire is a very simplistic version of the popular game that practically screams “old game aesthetics”. The bottom of the screen showcases the game time, the number of cards, the number of moves, and plenty of options – changing the game, dealing new cards, entering full-screen mode, accessing settings, or pausing the game’s timer. The top part of the game screen includes a “switch” between revealing 1 or 3 cards from the stock, as well as an “Undo” button, a “Hint” button, and two “Zoom” buttons. The interface of the game itself can also offer plenty of exciting features. The landing page of this resource offers the basic Klondike Solitaire immediately, and scrolling the page down reveals more exciting information – a short introduction to the resource’s primary purpose, a small list of keyboard shortcuts that may be useful for end users, and even a detailed rule set for all three of the Solitaire variations that supports – Klondike, Spider, and Free Cell. It is an entirely free resource that allows anyone to play free online Solitaire in full screen. Moving towards a more versatile and customizable experience, we have – an attractive website that offers the ability to play several different versions of Solitaire (as well as a number of other puzzles, such as Mahjong or Sudoku). The bottom of the game screen shows a time counter, a “Shuffle Cards” button, and a “Get a Hint” button. There are separate buttons on the top of the screen for “New Game” and “Sound” options, as well as a “Full Screen” button. There is a nice background image, all of the buttons are colored blue, and the name of the game is written on top of the screen in cursive. The game’s interface is relatively simple but not entirely without its own style. The last section we have yet to cover is the “Tips and tricks” paragraph, showcasing a few ideas for making the gameplay better for the end user. There is a small story-like introduction to the game itself and a detailed “How to” instruction in both text and video forms. This web page is not as bare-bones as the previous one, and there is plenty of other content besides the game. It uses a Refuge Solitaire as the only playable option – an unusual Solitaire variation with 104 cards and 8 foundations that need to be filled (a stark contrast to traditional “Klondike” solitaire with 52 cards and 4 foundations). The fourth button that was supposed to close the game does not work here – it seems to be an afterthought of Google’s Solitaire version.Ĭrescent Solitaire is a rather unusual variation of a free Solitaire game that can be played in full screen with no download. ![]() ![]() There are not that many options available for customization, as well – there are only three buttons on the game screen, including the “Undo” button, the “New” button (New Game), and the “Sound” button. It is not a competitive game in a traditional sense, since it does not allow for any kind of multiplayer. At the same time, Google’s version of this game does not have a full-screen toggle. Try typing “Solitaire” in the search bar of, and you will see this game appear above every other search result. It is also a carbon copy of the Solitaire game that is built-in into a Google search engine. ![]() It is a completely free game with no microtransactions, it can be played in full screen online with no download. The game counts both your score and playtime, but it is somewhat bare-bones aside from that. It offers two options to choose from at the start – the “Easy” mode or the “Hard” mode. This version of Solitaire is very straightforward – it uses a classic Klondike setup with no way to choose other variations of Solitaire.

Such a shame their quality control and customer service lets them down so badly. The REALLY annoying thing is that when the wheel DOES actually work it’s apparently really rather good. If you return it to the retailer for a replacement, the new wheel is just as likely to be broken. Worst of all, if you want to eventually use the wheel, you HAVE to go through the RMA. I’ve had to RMA things before (360 red ring of death, anyone), but I’ve never experience such a poor service as I have received from Thrustmaster. It’s been over a month since I bought the thing and I’ve had about 5 minutes use out of it in total! Mine went up in smoke within moments of first using it - then after going through their lengthy and inept RMA procedure the wheel came back…STILL BROKEN. I certainly won’t be buying another one of their products. I agree - Thrustmaster’s quality control is appalling. I do own other Thrustmaster products (the HOTAS Warthog system) which I am very happy with, but I will most likely not consider Thrustmaster again when looking for a new racing wheel. I don’t have a Fanatec wheel or any other Fanatec product so I really don’t know if they have any problems nor does it directly affect me if they do. ![]() Then I also pointed out my obvious disappointment with the evident lack of quality in this Thrustmaster product, something that I am obviously not alone in experiencing. I started it by asking for help/suggestions with my 2nd defective Thrustmaster TX wheel and now that I have determined that I am not realistically ever going to get it back in working order, and also no longer able to get it replaced from the seller (Amazon UK), the final outcome being that I an returning it for a refund. I don’t really see the point of bringing up Fanatec in this thread? Not looking forward to sending this wheel back for a replacement again, it is a major hassle, takes too long and I want to get back playing Forza Horizon 2…Īny ideas/suggestions what to do would be much appreciated. I have also (again) connected the wheel to my PC where it works fine, all buttons etc. I have gone through the full ‘USB reset’ guide from Thrustmaster (fully power the console off, remove power cable, connect the wheel and then the power cable again, turn the console on using the button on the front and using no other controller before I try to use the wheel again) and it does nothing. ![]() The wheel still has power and the leds are lit, but no matter what I do the Xbox no longer responds to it. But a couple seconds later the Xbox no longer takes any input at all from the wheel. My problem now is that when I connect the wheel to the Xbox it does the full calibration procedure (spinning back and forth) and if I quickly press a button or two after that it responds to that also. ![]() So, I am already on my second TX wheel (on the first the D-Pad stopped working so I had it replaced). But I’m hazy about the individual items, both because I only view them occasionally and because there are so many of them.” “I have a vague sense of what’s there, and I have organized my files somewhat. “My digital mementos, however, are hidden on machines and media,” LeFurgy said in the blog. Library of Congress blog author Bill LeFurgy had a similar idea, saying that it’s easy to forget digital mementos. Even when the memories attached to a physical object are painful, a part of me knows that one day I may want to remember again so instead of deleting every text and photo out of a fit of rage or sadness I put photos and other items into a box. There’s this feeling that comes from holding a physical memory in your hand, a sense of heartwarming nostalgia. Having a physical memento that brings back memories is so much more valuable than anything digital. This gives printed photographs a more “real” nature,” which perfectly encapsulates how I feel about physical photos. ![]() The physical aspect of printed photos is also something that I think should be appreciated more.Įlite Images also said, “although our lives are becoming more and more online, we still exist in a tangible world and most of our important and immediate experiences happen in physical space. To a point it’s understandable, as a blog from Elite Images said, “digital images can also be taken with you wherever you go.” Of course, digital photos can’t get water damage or suffer from faded colors but they are less personal. People stopped getting photos printed, instead leaving them to sit in an album on their phone or a flash drive lost years prior. This always made me sad because everything went digital when I was fairly young. The ones there stopped once I reached around six years old. The thing about it is that there are not many photos of myself. All these photos are worn, the pen written date on the back is smudged. They would show me photos of my older brothers on vacation or visiting our grandparents. ![]() Even the more recent photos my parents took on an old digital camera had this same effect. I love learning the stories attached to photos of my mom as a child with a relative I never got to meet.
